Central Nannies was established by Lynne Le Comber. With over 30 years experience in childcare working as a nanny, running playgroups and other agencies, in 2003 she decided to create her own agency offering a second to none service that didn’t just supply a nanny, but offered parents a genuine recruitment process and ongoing support and advice.

Working closely with her own daughter Vicky (who has over 15 years qualified nanny experience) Lynne has grown the business to supply nannies, maternity nurses, mother’s helps, Proxy Parents and babysitters in Herts, Essex, Cambs, Beds and north London.

We only register childcarers after a full interview and check of their references, qualifications, identity and a Criminal Records Bureau enhanced disclosure report, and many of our nannies and nurses have worked with us for many years.

We ask all our nannies and carers to have typical qualifications including (or equivalent);

• NNEB Diploma in Childcare & Education
• BTEC in Child Studies/Nursery Nursing
• CACHE Certificate in Childcare & Education
• NVQ level 2 or above in Early Years Childcare & Education
• DCE Advanced Diploma in Childcare &  Education (equivalent to Masters Degree)

Our nannies also all have a relevant and recent paediatric first aid certificate relevant to the care of babies and young children and including training in dealing with emergencies, carrying out resuscitation and treating shock, choking and anaphylactic shock.
